When it comes to variety, Alpha camp is where
it’s at. Mornings and afternoons all week
are wide open to the imagination. Campers practice
cooperation and compromise as they work with
the rest of their cabin group to plan their
day and fill their schedule with activities
like archery, Bible study, canoeing, hikes,
floor hockey, fort building, swimming, and more. |

If you have a child ready to come to camp, but maybe
not ready for a full week, this is just the thing.
Expedition campers will be in smaller cabin groups
than full-week campers and they get to bed earlier
than our Alpha and Omega campers. The same great camp
activities are available. |

It’s the same, but different! This week in North
Texas centers around the same values and goals as
all of our programs at Camp Lone Star, but it’s
got a unique flavor brought by a more intimate camp
setting. At Camp Shiloh you can take a dip in the
lake, or, canoe the shoreline. You can explore the
site and experience many other activities offered
in our Alpha and Omega programs. |

Are you looking for something completely different?
This may be the camp for you. Night Owl campers start
their day with supper and go to sleep shortly
after breakfast. All night long, they are exploring
the night time opportunities that Camp Lone Star and
the community have to offer. Late night cookouts,
astronomy, challenge course, sunrise swimming and
field trips fill the evening in this nocturnal camp. |

Whether you come to camp for a quick weekend, or plan
to stay for this program along with a full week of
camp, Endeavor will be a blast. It’s a quick
version of our Alpha and Omega camps plugged into
a Friday-Sunday schedule. There’s not enough
time to do everything at camp . . . but you can try. |
