Camp
Lone Star offers a
wide variety of resources
including 260 wooded acres
with hiking and jogging trails,
picnic tables and benches,
campfire and worship areas,
frontage on the Colorado River,
and a children's playground.

Base Camp The
Lone Star Base Camp is a year-round facility with twelve
air-conditioned and heated cabins. Each cabin has its
own bathroom and each cabin can accommodate up to 12
people. The beds are bunked. Guests must bring their
own pillow, bed and bath linens. There are numerous
indoor and outdoor meeting areas seating groups from 20
to 300 people. Meals are served in a separate dining
facility at the Johnson Retreat Center.

Lehnhardt Selah House |
The Selah House is another fully climatized facility
that will hold up to 50 in the Finn Meeting Room. It
is possible to also sleep up to a maximum of 36 people
in 6 motel style housing rooms. Each room has a queen
size bed, 1 set of bunks and a full size sleeper sofa
along with a writing desk and a private bath. All bed
and bath linens are furnished in this facility.

Memorial Activities Center |
Koop Memorial Activities Center: The
Koop Center is a carpeted, year-round, formal multi-use
facility.
Amenities include:
· air conditioning and heating
· stage and sound system
· CD stereo system
· Video presentation capabilities
· wheelchair accessible
· DVD/PC projector
The Koop Center is adaptable to many uses, such as conferences,
lectures, demonstrations and exhibits. The spacious
meeting room will seat up to 300 people, depending upon
the set up. Two smaller meeting rooms are easily arranged
with a floor to ceiling divider. |

Food service is not available in this building, however,
meals
and snacks are served at other locations on the camp grounds.
The Koop Center and all buildings on the grounds are
designated as nonsmoking. |

Resource leaders are available to lead Bible
studies, devotions, singing, to direct waterfront activities,
camping trips, or any other outdoor events, and can facilitate
Challenge Course sectionals or any other community-building
activities. The staff is also available to help plan and
or run entire retreats.

Star Challenge Course |
The Lone Star Challenge Course consists
of 50 ground level and above ground elements. This program
builds team communication and cooperation. All Challenge
Course elements must be facilitated by camp personnel.

Electronic presentation equipment is available, including
a VCR deck and camera, overhead projector, slide and
filmstrip projectors, a 16mm movie projector, screens
and easels and a computer with video projector.
